The role In the role of Broker Support, you will be dealing directly with mortgage applications from clients. You will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders regularly to gather information, retrieve documentation and process applications from the initial document preparation through to post credit functions.
What you'll need to succeed Seeking intelligent, energetic individuals that are eager to work in a mortgage broking environment. You must be a quick learner, have impeccable communication skills and a strong work ethic. You will have some previous broker support experience and understand the full end to end mortgage application process.
Responsibilities: · Creating compliance documents for all home loan applications · Preparing Finance Strategies (with assistance from the broker) · Preparing and Lodging home loan applications · Managing loan applications · Researching lender policy and process · Communicating with various lenders · Ordering valuations · Pricing requests & actioning pricing requests · Providing customer service for settled clients · Undertake any other finance-related duty, as requested.
Candidate requirements: · Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines. · Process and deadline-driven · Highly organised and efficient · Good working knowledge of lending products and the banking environment. · You must have excellent customer relationship skills, and be able to nurture customers throughout their entire finance journey · Ability to learn quickly · Strong administration and customer service skills. · Strong Computer skills are essential as you will be working with Microsoft Office (incl. Excel, Outlook, Word) · Experience with ApplyOnLine and/or Flex is not essential but would be an advantage.
You will need to have: · At least core i3 laptop or Desktop computer · A stable internet connection with a minimum of 10Mbps speed · A quiet environment for calls
