Maybe it's time for me to get a new laptop

Hi everyone. I'm currently having problems with my laptop. It's a second hand DELL with i-5 Core and 10GB RAM (Windows 7). There are times where my laptop freezes after my classes and makes it hard for me to enter the next class. I use apps such as Adobe Connect for my classes.

I think it's time for me to get a new laptop. Any recommendations? Should I get another DELL? Or should I purchase a different brand? Thank you very much.

Do you update your Win and Dell?

@kolleen Hi. My laptop originally had only 4GB RAM but it's been upgraded to 10. As for the Windows - it's Windows 7. I've had to upgraded to Windows 10 but went back to 7 since 10 wasn't compatible with my printer.
