Hi Guys. I have a PT client who wants me to use Hubstaff tracker along with UW tracker. Is that okay? A friend told me that it's a no-no but client insists it's dine and he needs me to do so for tracking purposes. Any thoughts on this?
TIA
It's good since upwork pa din ang payment, baka may mga feature sila na needed from hubstaff na wala s upwork.
i have to consult my friend, parang medyo nakakaoff sa side ni client.. i might not continue hiring pag ako.. (sa kin lang naman) basta ang contract and payment is within upwork .. okay lang yan
It's fine. As long as naka on naman upwork tracker mo and Upwork parin nag pay si Client. Maybe that's their way to keep track of their bills nga. Nagsesend ba ng invoice si upwork per freelancer? Kasi I have access sa email ng client ko pero ang nakikita ko lang kay upwork is summary ng freelancer and hours and amount of that 😂 Correct me if I'm wrong
Hubstaff kasi nadedetect ang work effeciency. So kung mabagal ang movement ng mouse at keyboard mo mababa din ang percentage o bilis mo magtrabaho. Kaya siguro gusto ka nya gumamit nyan.
Anyway, If I'm your client I might get offended. How long are you working with him/her? It sounds like you don't trust him/her kasi. Just my 2c, ☺️
@sweetpie He's been asking me to work for him since May but I declined several times. I just accepted his offer before thanksgiving.
you can use hubstaff while using upwork tracker too, most of US company uses hubstaff for tracking because its more flexible and easy to manage in admin side, so as for the staff just run as it is, just run the Up work tracker every time together with hubstaff and enjoy working.
nothing wrong with using another tracker, some company need it for their record.
ok lng nman po, gmit mo din nman c upwork tracker.. mas detailed kasi hubstaff, kita dun websites and apps na ginagamit/pinupuntahan then every 2.5 mins ang capture 😂
Client reason is legit naman. Para lang sync din s billings nila ung hours worked mo. Maybe they will set up something para mag match s expenses nla s upwork.
I dont think there is anything wrong with this. as long as you give your full undivided time to that client and not to another client while you are working and all payments go through Upwork.
Ganun din saken noon. Ang pinakatracker ko, HS, pero ang billing ko, UW pero manual. Mas madali kase for other clients magconsolidate ng reports lalo na kung HS na talaga ang gamit nila.
I have a client before ganyan din, pero manual lang sa Upwork.
I think nakasubcontract ka, for hubstaff nakadirect kasi yun sa mga clients ng client mo.
Using both, wala nmn Siguro issue, guaranteed nmn payment mo sa Upwork. Or ask your client kung pwede manual nalang sa Upwork, depende ilang hour natract mo sa hubstaff, yun nga lng hindi na automatic yung sahod mo sa kanya.
HS gamit ko sa aking Ausie client.. pero billing namin upwork through manual time. Di kasi pwede sa UW kasi dahil sa screenshot. Sa HS pwede wlang screenshot. Reason why my client doesn't want screenshot is because I'm handling patient's records.. medical field kasi so strict sa privacy.
Yes, sa company namin we use 2 time trackers, upwork is for payment, then t-sheets for company record given to the company's client. (Company's clients) Before sending an invoice, we have to have a complete task/time record for them to see. Our company offers services po.
Just use 2 trackers.
It's for accounting purposes.
I use hubstaff most preferred xa with the tools na auto screenshot every 10 mins. No idle time and cheaper din to manage employees.
i think that's okay. you can minimize hubstaff sa ibang browser para hindi mascreenshot ni upwork and minimize it. i see no problem as long as yung pay is sa upwork
Fixed lrice or Hourly? Kung hourly, no yan. Kapag Fixed pwede yan. Kasi no tracker na kasi kapag fixed price. Angmahalaga mabayaran ka sa Upwork.
