Admin Assistant - Remote work, great training opportunities, no graveyard shift, and potential for quick promotion

WHO ARE WE?

We are a US-based company with a small team that manages FB ads for a handful of international clients that spend anywhere from $3000 to $30,000/mo.

We need someone who is detailed-oriented, highly organized and a great communicator to do work on a range of admin duties that involve generating leads for the business, following up with prospects, setting appointments, creating ad campaign reports, and other general projects.

This is an especially great opportunity for someone who is considering a career in marketing but only has prior admin/operations experience.

You’ll have the opportunity to understand what we do behind the scenes through exposure alone.

The initial 90 days, at 40 hours per week, is $3-6 per hour plus a $300 quarterly bonus if you reach targets. There are also lots of opportunities for promotion with a clearly defined path for you to get there.

Full support will be provided when you first start working with us, including training in how to do each thing you work on.

WHO ARE YOU?

We are accepting any professional experience level with a minimum of 6 months working in a remote team in past roles.

The role involves working closely with me, Owner, and Head Marketing Strategist on a day-to-day basis.

If you had been working for us in the last couple of weeks these are a sample of some of the tasks you would have done:

  • Shortlisting potential clients to pitch
  • Writing proposals/pitches
  • Following up prospects over email and LinkedIn
  • Inputting all of our leads into our CRM
  • Creating tasks in our project management system to keep track of actions we need to take for our leads
  • Copy FB campaign data into our custom spreadsheets
  • Improve formulas and automation in our custom spreadsheets
  • Screenshot campaign performance from FB ads manager to appropriate slack channels
  • Documenting new processes
  • Ensuring the accuracy of SOPs

Tasks will be set up in our project management system, Asana, and need to be ticked off in there so we can keep track of what has been done.

There are constant discussions in Slack when getting advice/revisions for managing prospects.

Aside from the tasks, we are looking for...

Someone who is a strong communicator You'll need to provide updates early and often without requiring us to follow-up with you.

If you're running late to a meeting, there's already a slack message letting us know before the meeting has started.

You show up to work at the agreed-upon time.

Someone who has superb attention to details You are someone who pays attention to every little detail – not only in your work but in everything you do.

When looking at a spreadsheet, outliers jump out at you. Maybe you visualize charts/graphs just from a set of numbers...

If formulas break, you research ways to fix them.

This is a must-have for this position and a fundamental core value.

Someone who is proactive and eager to take on responsibility In a small business environment, things come up, and problems need to be solved.

If you are the kind of person who sits back and thinks “that’s not my responsibility,” then please don’t apply.

Someone who is a problem solver Processes and systems breaks. You'll need to have an eye for the high-level goal to make sure
