A Case Manager is like the role of a Records Summary Specialist / Review of Records / Transcriptionist, but with additional tasks. What happened during the event, are there leads/witnesses we can follow up with, are there contradictions in the police reports, etc. A final investigation report will also be completed which will entail the facts you have summarized from the records.
As part of the team, you will inform team members if there are records that need to be ordered, witness/es they need to locate and interview, etc. Also, part of the responsibility is to do webscrapping on the subject, build the client’s family tree, search online database for the subject’s additional information, etc.
