We are currently hiring a full-time Marketing Director for an Amazon E-commerce Company.
Our company, founded in 2016, owns 3 consumer-facing brands in arts & crafts, basic adhesive tapes, and craft adhesive tapes. We currently sell on e-Commerce channels, primarily through Amazon.com. Our company is headquartered in the USA but most of our team works from the Philippines. We have experienced rapid growth over the past few years and are now seeking someone to lead our marketing department.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Marketing will take total ownership of our company’s marketing efforts, including managing our selling accounts on Amazon.com, developing our brands, and building new creative assets to engage our consumer base. Most importantly, this individual must take a profound interest in identifying new growth drivers for the business and in coaching and mentoring the 3 marketing team members who will report to him/her.
Since we are selling in the US market, the successful candidate must have a total command of the English language, and should have a strong understanding of US consumer preferences.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the CEO to align on marketing priorities, while developing and implementing strategic plans for the department. -Manage and mentor the members of our existing marketing team.
- Oversee our company’s digital marketing efforts across various advertising platforms including but not limited to Amazon (PPC/Display, etc.), Walmart, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Coordinate content creation (product listings, photos, videos, social media, email marketing, etc.) with key vendors including copywriters, graphic designers, and consultants.
- Manage our marketing budget and closely track and report KPIs on a regular basis.
- Monitor and track competition.
- Stay on the cutting edge of Amazon marketing tactics and broader digital marketing trends.
- Take the initiative to identify and spearhead new projects that will drive growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of digital marketing experience with 2+ years of management experience
- Recent experience with e-commerce
- Fluent English
- Effective leadership and coaching skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Project Management skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, data-driven and with a high degree of financial literacy
- An independent thinker with the ability to proactively identify problems and develop solutions
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize, manage through ambiguity, and collaborate closely with remote leadership
- Energetic, curious, and collaborative with a great attitude and go-getter mentality
- Home office with a reliable computer and internet connection
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS (not required, but strongly advantageous):
- Experience marketing on Amazon.com
- Experience working at a digital marketing agency
- Experience marketing to US or Western customers
- English at a Mother Tongue level
