Is there an email marketing expert here or anyone who knows how to prevent or stop out newsletter from MailChimp from going into the spam or promotions tab?

Don't put links in your email. Just do it just like you are sending an email to a friend, like very plain and simple. Try it and it will go to their primary tab.
