Is the i3 laptop not sufficient enough for video calls using zoom and ring central?

Need some advice. I have 2 systems, an i3 laptop and i5 desktop. With my previous job, it doesn't really require higher specs but my contract with them just ended.

Right now, I had to go through different interviews. I dont have a webcam for my desktop so I am using my laptop but apparently, for 2 video interviews already, it keep on saying intermittent connection though prior to these interviews, my connection is good at around 24mbps download and roughly 4mbps upload speeds.

Is it because the i3 laptop not sufficient enough for video calls using zoom and ring central?
