Legalist is Hiring Remote Data Entry Assistant Position

Legalist is a Y Combinator and venture-backed startup that uses public court records and statistical analysis to help David beat Goliath in court. Since its founding in 2016 by two Harvard drop-outs, Legalist has funded dozens of civil suits brought by small businesses by using algorithms that monitor federal and state court dockets to source and underwrite investments.

Our remote staff all over the world are hugely important to our growth, and we’re looking for a smart and dedicated team member to be part of the next rendition of the photo above!

JOB SUMMARY: Your primary focus will be searching and entering data on lawyers, lawsuits, and other key information. We send hundreds of emails a day to prospective lawyers. You'll be on the front lines of that battle, helping compile and verify data that will generate emails to help facilitate Legalist’s workflow. On average, each of our data entry members collect and verify 160 to 200 emails daily.

We are looking for exceptional people who have the data entry ability to properly support our team. We're a fun team and you'll be working with us through Slack and GSuite during your workday. The work is remote, so you can do it in the comfort of your own home, with no long, draining commute.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: A full-time DATA ENTRY ASSISTANT who can work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week (UTC-8). We prefer individuals who are:

• Meticulous, Self-Motivated, and Solution-Oriented;
• Proficient in the English language
• Positive in all interactions with team members

REQUIRED SKILLS: Administrative: Lead Generation, Research, Data Validation

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: This is a full-time, home-based, 40 hours/week position; hours are very flexible. We pay twice a month with PayPal, and with an established virtual staff, we always pay on time.

Our starting wage is $3.00 USD per hour, which works out to approximately 22,000 PHP per month.

• For the first month, you will be receiving a probationary rate of $1.00 USD per hour. After completion of your first month, we will then accelerate the $2.00 USD difference.
• Raise evaluations occur after your first 6 months, and then every 12 months thereafter.

After six (6) months of employment, you'll be eligible for benefits such as:

• up to 10 days paid vacation per year
• Internet reimbursement
• Team retreats!!!

HOW TO APPLY: There will be a test, a brief getting-to-know-you portion and a video interview:

• The test will check your ability to follow instructions, along with your research and data entry skills. Candidates who pass this test will be scheduled for a video interview.
• The 30-minute video interview will be focused on verifying several things: The video interview will be focused on verifying the information you gave over the past round; andyour tech-savviness, equipment, and internet connection
