Job Description: HomeRoom is a coliving company on a never-ending pursuit to elevate the home-sharing concept. We are redefining roommate living, from our fine-tuned and collaborative member matching process to our engaging community events. We are rapidly growing and are seeking an experienced Marketer with lead generation experience, ideally in real estate/property management/leasing.
While the company is headquartered in the USA, this position is a remote position for candidates possessing the proper experience, professionalism, drive, and dedication. As a lead generator, you will list and advertise HomeRoom's vacancies on multiple platforms, including Craigslist, Facebook, Roomster, etc., and send outbound messages to generate leads. You will be the first step in the prospecting process, and our sales team relies on your persuasive abilities and creative methods of finding potential roommates.
We need a confident, driven, self-starter who is professional and positive and not afraid of repetitive and challenging work. This position provides flexibility, with hours based on Central Time and some weekends required. Requirements:
- Previous work experience in real estate/leasing or property management
- Previous work experience in sales, marketing, promotions, virtual assisting, or telemarketing (2 years preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to craft exciting text/emails to prospects that pique their interest and result in a new meeting
- A high level of professionalism
- Ability to quickly learn the features and benefits of our software products
- Persistent & positive attitude
- High-volume cold emailing or lead generation experience
- CRM experience
- Detail-oriented, driven, and tenacious
- Results-oriented and great at multi-tasking
- Be capable of handling customer rejection or resistance.
- Ability to work from home in a quiet work environment
- Job Type: Full-time-40 hours per week, 9-6pm CST (M-F, some weekends required).
- Bachelors Education (Preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Update and post 20+ listings per day.
- Make 100+ outbound messages per day.
- Develop sales opportunities via cold text
- Listen to prospects' needs and act on them in real-time.
- Develop new prospects through market research
- Update the CRM with new prospect information and qualifying questions
- Generate a large volume of quality leads
- Maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales quotas as determined by management
