A growing e-commerce enabler, is looking for an organized, detail-oriented SHOPIFY DEVELOPER who will set up, maintain, and optimize different brands' e-commerce stores to ensure high conversion and smooth operations.

Shopify Developer Duties and Responsibilities:

• Hands-on development of eCommerce websites on the Shopify platform, including creating custom design.
• Modify and update existing sites to implement new features and further improve UI/UX.
• Build, implement, and test new website features.
• Code for custom development, in addition to modifying existing Shopify templates.
• Implement and debug third-party Shopify Apps
• Test and optimize sites for desktop, mobile, cross-browser compatibility and SEO.
• Strategize and manage timelines and task management for site launches and updates.
• Work on multiple sites and projects at the same time.
• Report on metrics, project progress, lessons learned and recommendations
• Abide by the same internal systems, procedures and policies as all team members -Ability in custom apps development a plus
• Other related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Shopify development
• Front End experience expected
• Back End experience, a plus
• PLUS - Experience in custom API integration
• PLUS - Experience working with Shopify Plus, a plus
• Education in Programming, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar etc preferred
• Knowledgeable and experienced in the following: Liquid, Shopify’s object/properties, metafields, theming system
• Experienced in jQuery, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Ruby on Rails
• PLUS - Knowledgeable in HTML5, CSS3, javascript/Jquery, DOM, AJAX, JSON, Node.js,
• Knowledgeable in Shopify best practices
• Experienced in coding HTML emails
• Function as Shopify expert, specializing in all facets of the ecommerce platform.
• Strong hands to Install & Customize new Shopify theme.
• Knowledge in other ecommerce platform like Magento, woocommerce, BigCommerce, an advantage
• Knowledge in marketing or communications automation, an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written skills, with proven ability to communicate complex ideas and to design and document projects in a clear, concise way.
• Strong ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines, Excellent follow-up, project and time management skills.
• An established track record in meeting deadlines
• Above average English language skills written and oral, good grammar
• Work ethic is highly valued, respect others in the office and team directions.
• Flexible to tap into different projects. Help out other teams when needed.
• Exemplary organizational skills, quality execution with a high attention to detail
• Team Player who is able to work cross functionally with multiple channels and teams
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Competent with GSuite Tools: Gmail, GDrive Suite and Microsoft Office Suite

Salary details:

Between Php50,000 - Php80,000 per month
