Description/Information: Who are we looking for? We are looking for a virtual assistant to work alongside a top US Government Contracting specialist. In this role, the VA will be assisting our specialist in submitting Requests for Proposal documents and follow up for Covid-19 testing programs in the US. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-starting person with the eagerness to learn and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and making sure all required documents are properly prepared and submitted on time. The applicant will need strong organizational and time management skills as well as strong attention to detail. Must be proficient in written and verbal English. Finally, the applicant must be highly trustworthy as they will have access to sensitive files and information regarding the company.
Responsibilities and Duties: What will you do? These are the duties you will maintain or exceed: The successful candidate will be organizing and filling out paperwork, keeping track of application processes, assisting with proposal submissions, and working alongside technical copywriters.
Requirements: • At least 1-year experience working as a VA (preferably those who have worked in the document preparation or detailed paperwork submission industries such as payment processing or medical billing) • Someone who can read and learn technical documents (some training provided) • Ability to work independently within a team environment • Great attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Exceptional organizational abilities • Great ability to focus
Nice to have but not necessary: • U.S. Gov contracting experience in any capacity (i.e. assisting with paperwork organization and submission for U.S. federal, state or local proposals.) • Experience working with legal contracts as an assistant • Experience working with GovWin IQ
