Position: Backend WordPress Developer
Rate is between $4 to $10 / hour (depending on your expertise and experience)
Our mission at CyberOptik is to provide amazing websites for our customers, as well as support those on an ongoing basis. This is a non-client-facing position. We're looking for someone who enjoys helping others, is a team player, and is eager to learn. You'll work alongside our 3 US-based team members, as well as other PH-based team members.
Your day-to-day will involve handling general WordPress maintenance, troubleshooting trouble plugins/updates, dealing with more advanced plugin configuration, as well as website builds using Elementor and our own internal theme.
This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone with at least 3 years of deep experience working within WordPress and sees themselves as a backend developer. Frontend developer experience is a plus but not required.

- WordPress: general knowledge of WordPress, plugins, themes
- programming: PHP, MySQL, Basic HTML/CSS
Bonus skills/experience… (can be taught)
- plugins: ACF, Elementor, custom post types
- experience handling WordPress updates (plugin updates, troubleshooting updates)WordPress speed optimization
- WooCommerce setup, maintenance, customization, add-on plugin configuration
