Hi-TALK is one of the fastest-growing and promising Korean online institutions providing Korean students English classes thru Skype specializing in English speaking.

Hi-TALK is looking for a professional home-based ESL teacher who wishes to expand their career into English Education. We conduct live Skype English classes. We also accept tutors who are already working with other companies who want to fill in their vacant slots.

[Minimum Requirements for any of our position] • Must be over 18 years old • Proficiency in the English language with a neutral accent • All potential candidates must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. • A valid diploma or proof of graduation • Bright, patient, passionate, friendly, enthusiastic personality, AND most importantly, RESPONSIBLE!

[Preferential Qualification] • Experience in teaching English to young learners or foreigners (ESL/EFL) • A teaching certificate like TESOL, TEFL, etc. or a professional teacher’s license

[Technical Requirements] • A wired DSL Internet connection of at least 3 Mbps (LTE, USB sticks & wireless connections are NOT allowed) • A headset with an extended microphone and noise-canceling features • A clear web camera • A desktop or laptop • Operating system: at least Windows 7, Intel Core i3, and 4GB Ram • A good working environment conducive to online classes (no background noises, clutter-free, and well-lit space, quiet environment, good lighting, etc.)

[Class Responsibilities] • Encourage and motivate students to study • Teach in the most fun and interesting way possible through Skype • Can handle different levels and ages of students • Conduct level tests • Submit class remarks after every lesson • Accomplish daily and monthly reports on time.

[Schedule Information] • Open a minimum of 3 hours per day (No minimum number of days per week) • Open classes on BOTH Saturdays and Sundays • Open classes in either the early morning (5 AM - 7 AM) OR late evening (10 PM – 12 MN)

• Standard Time: Korean Time
• All classes are set in regular (not booked) based.

[Competitive salary] We offer a highly competitive salary (160 PHP/hour), a flexible work schedule, professional growth opportunities, and full teaching support. It can be fixed or per class. (It depends on your teaching experience and skills, etc.. ) “We prioritize the best treatment for the best teacher.”

NOTE: Applicants who will be hired must be willing to open a BDO account. We pay once a month thru BDO.
