Is $450 per month salary a little bit low? I need advice

Hingi lang po ako advice. Currently po nagwowork ako as SEO Copywriter and Social Media Manager. I found these client 8 months ago from OLJ. Nung simula po $400 po ang offer and my client promised to give me an increase after 6 mos. Bale digital marketing agency po sya and we have 12 clients (going 14) na hinahawakan.

Ang work ko po nung hindi pa nagiincrease is to write blogs to each of the clients that we handle, bale 35hrs per week, (kahit ilang words basta 400 words and up) and sa isang week dapat may blog lahat ng client.

After 6 months nag increase ng $50. Sa social media, ako yung gagawa ng graphics (through canva) and then schedule it. yung ibang client na hawak namin gusto 3 posts per week so bale 16 social media posts per week.

And then just recently may nag offer sakin thru upwork na, social media posting. Graphics are already pre-made, may caption na din. Gagawa nalang ng hashtags. Pero hundred plus clients. Tapos $5/hr, and 25 hours per week lang limit. Yan lang yung work. And they are asking if kaya ko mag full time. They also offered me na mag take ng FB Blueprints and sasagutin nila yung certification if nakita nila after 3 mos na okay yung work ko.

I hope you can give me your insights if reasonable ba yung $450/month sa SEO copywriting and social media mgnt.. Medyo naiistress na din kasi ako.

Luge ka sa writing blogs tbh. May past client ako before nag ooffer nuon ng $100-$250/1,000 word for SEO content. Ofc at this time hindi na siya hiring. Ung friend ko na writer she usually charges around $30 per 300-400 words.

Tapos may social media posting ka pa.

Going back to Upwork, for me, Upwork is always worth it regardless of the fees. Payment protection kasi PLUS magkakaroon ng laman ang profile mo ie employment history (kung long term man yan) or feedback history (kung project-based/short term man yan).

Kung long-term yan, you can eventually ask for a raise.

Nadidiskartehan ko in terms of scaling up, asking for a raise & bidding for more.

I still have a few long-term clients na $5/hr.

Pero to any new clients, hindi ako tumatanggap ng anything below than $8/hr. Diskarte ko kasi sa fees. May exception lang ako sa long-term clients hinahayaan ko na kahit $5-$6/hr pero simpre kung lumakas sales nila hihingi talaga ako ng increase like what I did to my other clients. Tuloy padin work.

VA/CSR lang pala field ko. Promise, matutunan mo din mag scale up at manghingi ng increase.

$500/month. 24 leaves/year paid and with 13th month pay. Di siya open sa recommendations. He wants me back. Unfortunately naliliitan ako sa $500/month. Walang Upwork fees kasi direct.

Kaya mo yan. Gawin mong stepping stone ang $5/hr. I started with $5 for a fixed price project. Hindi pa yan hourly. Nag sagot lang ako ng survey 😂😂 kaya keribels ung $5 for fixed price project. first hourly contract ko $3/hr.

Delegate parts of your $450 job to someone trustworthy and focus on getting the upwork job. Then kapag maganda na performance ng nadelegate-tan mo, ask your $450 employer if interested sya to expand the business as you know people here who are talented...

It depends, sya palang ba naging client mo (yung 450 a month, for SEO writing??) I'm an SEO specialist and was getting paid really low before, I only stuck around to get the experience I needed. If SEO content ginagawa mo you can charge as high as $15 per hour. :) again, depende kung confident kana sa skills mo and you have the experience you need to charge more. Ung sa $5 per hr naman, kung simple naman pinagagawa keep mo muna as back up para if aalis kana tlaga don sa 450 a month may income ka pa din
