Hi guys, I would like to ask,

A US client is worried about tax on his end.

Does he need to let his remote workers sign as an independent worker and not an employee?

I want to know your input on this.

Thanks a lot for the help.

I think it's called 1099 contractors. Wala sila obligation to pay for benefits etc unlike payroll employees.

Also it is best that client talk to an accountant kasi iba-iba tax laws nila per state, assuming from US xa...

Have them fill out Form W8-Ben

Yes. We make new hires sign a document to this effect.

Remote workers are contractors not employees.

Dude just don't do the w-9 you are delared as offshore.
