Food Connect is using technology to solve the complicated problem of hunger and food waste and we are looking for a driven and passionate team player who can help us grow and support the Community Relations and Program Director and Management Team. We are a non-profit tech organization with an app that matches food donations, local shelters, and available drivers in real-time. Food Connect is looking for a key contributor to identify and build new partnerships with specific responsibilities including:
Build and management ongoing pipeline:
- Create target prospects lists through researching and contacting new leads.
- Profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle
Outreach to new partners
- Follow-up on inbound and outbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time to interested prospects - Active outreach to new partners, manage partner opportunities, including pipeline, forecasting, customer wins, and revenue.
- Schedule appointments for Food Connect's team when a lead reaches a qualified stage
Establish digital relationship with target audience and maintain all tracking:
- Build partner social media presence social network on Linkedin and establish a digital relationship with our target audience
- Ensure successful follow through of partner development cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information
- Track results and create reports for all partners
Requirements:
- Degree in related field and/or +5 years of related proven successful experience in sales and in partnership development.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Ability to pivot quickie and manage multiple projects and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English
- Excellent analytical skills, motivation, and confidence to independently address issues.
- Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to impact and influence at all levels.
- Solid working knowledge of Google Suite
- Strong attention to detail
Additional Requirements:
- Computer Processor: i3 or higher (for both primary and back-up computers)
- Computer Memory/RAM: 4.00 GB or higher (for both primary and back-up computers)
- Computer Operating System: Windows 9 and up
- Primary Connection: Wired connection running on a 5.0 Mbps plan or higher
- Back-up Connection: Wired or data/hots spot Running at least 5.0 Mbps or higher USB type headset w/ noise cancellation
- Strong computer skills
- Workstation should be quiet and free from distractions
- Explanation of your back up plan in case of power outage or internet service issues
Workdays and time: Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm EST
Compensation: The rate for this position is $5 - $10 per hour based on experience (Around $800 - $1600 per month)
