A US based e-commerce company is looking for a Product Development Manager for Supplements (Remote - work from home set-up)
Job Description:
- Own project management for all of the new products
- Learn our process and how we generate new product ideas, create competitor tables
- Working with limited data from Amazon and our internal guidelines, this role should feel comfortable generating product ideas
- Have day to day interaction with some of our suppliers so will occasionally need to take a call on East Coast time zone
- Coordinate between Supply Chain and Marketing to make sure everything gets done on time
- Manage and coach the team when new product development associates join
- Analyze broader categories like supplements, grocery & beauty
Job Requirements:
- Has experience coming from a supplements company or second choice is that they have been in a product development role before
- Need to be detail oriented and not afraid of project management. - Need to be very organized
- Need to be able to think strategically in terms of how we can differentiate our products and make them better than the competition
- Business case oriented and strong analytical abilities
- Comfortable presenting new products internally
- Feels comfortable owning the new product pipeline and giving feedback to others helping out
- Works with minimal supervision. The candidate is expected to be productive despite a very autonomous work culture.
- Can work during US hours (PST)
Starting Pay - $1,500 - $2,000/month
