How do you negotiate increase in your salary rate to your client?

Hi guys. I just want to ask how do you negotiate increase in your salary rate to your client?

It's my 6 months with my client. Sales is getting better and better and I've noticed workloads is also increasing as month passes by since there are many things I need to check and monitor everyday, and I am only his VA. 😅

I reviewed again the contract but there's no statement about salary increase (I really forgot to check the contract thoroughly before I signed it before 🙁 ).

Any advise? Thank you very much!

Prepare reports to justify your request for raise.

  1. You said the sales increased, prepare a sales comparison report to show the trend.
  2. You mentioned that your tasks are increasing, is that correlated to the sales increase? Are these ad hoc tasks or additional regular tasks?
  3. Include the rate increase you're requesting for.

Come in prepared. Request for your raise the same way you'd expect your employee to request for a wage increase if you own a company.
