What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• At least 2 years of operational finance or accounting experience required
• Moderate to advanced excel proficiency (VLOOKUPS, Pivot tables, etc.)
• Database queries experience is a plus (SQL, SAS, ACCESS, etc.)
• Requires analytical and quantitative skills
• Independent worker with the ability to conduct research & resolve problems
• Knowledge of data validation techniques required
• Financial modeling expertise a plus

What you will be doing:

• Reconcile transactions by comparing against carrier’s commission statements and book of business
• Research discrepancies between internal and external data at a policy level
• Review cash collection reconciliations
• Research and resolve inquiries for assigned functional areas
• Investigate and report to the Manager any inconsistencies or improprieties
• Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance
• Projects as assigned by Management
• Provide timely, relevant, and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of performance
